PSHE
We love the range of topics that we explore and discuss in PSHE, and enjoy seeing our work in the class floor-book.
WE follow the KAPOW RSE/PSHE scheme, which provides a carefully structured and age-appropriate approach to teaching Relationships, Sex, and Health Education (RSE) and Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) education. The curriculum is designed to support children’s personal development, emotional well-being, and understanding of important life skills.
Lessons cover key themes such as healthy relationships, emotional resilience, personal safety (including online safety), physical and mental health, and financial education.
Through engaging activities, discussions, and scenarios, children learn how to navigate social situations, make responsible decisions, and develop confidence in themselves. The scheme is fully in line with the statutory RSE guidance set by the Department for Education and helps to prepare pupils for the wider world.
