Artist facilitators from The Met in Bury came in to Year 5 to create lanterns, which were used in the festival of light. The children used willow to create the frame of the lanterns, working together to ensure they created a strong structure. Then they used a special type of tissue paper to cover the frame. The children loved this messy day of creating.
