In this unit, the children were introduced to primary and secondary colours. The primary colours are red, blue and yellow. The secondary colours are made by mixing two of the primary colours together. The secondary colours are purple, orange and green. Red and yellow make orange. Blue and yellow make green. Blue and red make purple. 

From this, we looked at two artists. Their names are Jasper Johns and Clarice Cliff. We looked at their work and created our own following their style.

We looked at how to print, using Lego bricks. 

We created different shades of secondary colours and displayed our shades on a handprint.
